Providing support for PostgreSQL since version 1.0 of AlligatorSQL we will expand the features in the near future. PostgreSQL is, so called object relational database management system licensed as open source software free to be used as long as the source code is always kept available.
Originally POSTGRES was developed in a university project at the University of California in Berkeley in the Computer Science Department. Ever since then, the developers from all over the world have contributed to this project, which was renamed 1996 into PostgreSQL.
AlligatorSQL implements access to all database objects and all common features of AlligatorSQL, including the project management, connection switcher, connection folder and the multithreaded browser, are available, helping database developers and administrators at the same time.
The second configuration level of the PostgreSQL support will contain access to the DBA Toolbox for monitoring and administering registered instances.
